Constant Current Driver Calculator
Design a constant current LED array, verify driver voltage window compatibility, calculate series/parallel string configuration, and check LED junction current and dimming options.
From LED datasheet. Typical white LEDs are 2.8–3.6V; COB modules can be 18–54V.
Maximum or nominal current from LED datasheet.
Actual operating current. Lower current improves thermal performance and lifespan.
Junction-to-solder point or module thermal resistance.
Series LEDs share the same current. Voltage adds.
Each string draws the drive current. Current adds.

Constant Current
Best for COB LEDs, downlights, and LED modules wired in series. The driver regulates current and allows voltage to float within its output window.
Constant Voltage
Best for LED strip tape and loads with built-in current limiting. The supply holds 12V or 24V while the load determines current draw.
